Bond investment manager changes affecting the Bond and Balanced Funds

Two changes were recently made to the bond allocations in both the UBC Faculty Pension Plan Balanced and Bond Funds.  The Real Return Bonds were sold in August and these assets were reinvested in a passive Universe bond mandate with BlackRock. State Street Global Advisors’ passive Universe bond mandate was terminated and these assets were reinvested in the passive Universe bond mandate with BlackRock in November.
