Actuary: Aon Hewitt
Aon Hewitt is the Plan’s actuary. They provide actuarial services to the Plan which includes the annual valuation for the Variable Payment Life Annuities and reviewing member communications when needed.
Auditors: Deloitte
Deloitte has been the Plan’s auditor since 2005. Each year, Deloitte audits the Plan’s financial statements which comprises of the statement of financial position and the statement of change in financial position at the year end and the notes to the financial statements.
Custodian & Record Keeper: Sun Life
Sun Life has been the plan’s record keeper and custodian since 2015. The Plan’s assets are held in Segregated Funds with Sun Life, wherein they are held in trust and kept separate from the assets of the insurance company. As the Plan’s record keeper, Sun Life works with the UBC Pension Administration Office to co-administer the Plan.
