Plan Governance

The UBC Faculty Pension Plan (FPP) is governed by the Plan’s Board of Trustees. The Board is responsible for the management and oversight of the Plan including the administration and the investment of the Plan assets. The Board has a number of formal measures in place to ensure that the Plan is managed in the best interest of the members, as well as to ensure the Plan is administered in compliance with the British Columbia Pension Benefits Standards Act and Income Tax Act.


Board of Trustees

The UBC FPP Board consists of eight board trustees. Four trustees are elected by members and four trustees are appointed by the University.
