Understanding Your Retirement Income Options
Thinking of retiring? This helpful 1.5-hour seminar discusses retirement considerations and explains the various options available to Plan members who are approaching retirement.

Seminars take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and are held online via Zoom video conferencing. Your Zoom URL will be provided along with your retirement estimate prior to the session. Registration will close one week prior to the seminar date.
Understanding Your Faculty Pension Plan (UYFPP)
This 1-hour seminar provides an opportunity for UBC Faculty Pension Plan members to learn about the Plan’s features and benefits, investment options and member responsibilities. Whether you are new or have been in the Plan for a while, you’ll come away with useful information about your pension plan and how to make the most of your member experience.
If you are approaching retirement, we recommend attending Understanding Your Retirement Income Options (see above) instead of this seminar.

UYFPP registration is accessible via the UBC Workplace Learning Ecosystem (WPL). You will need to log in using your Campus-Wide Login (CWL). If you do not have a CWL and would like to inquire about registering for UYFPP, please contact Nishtha Sharma at nishtha.sharma@ubc.ca.
UYFPP seminars take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and are held online via Zoom video conferencing. Upon successful enrollment in WPL, you will receive a confirmation email that will prompt you to review your syllabus and register in Zoom. Zoom will then send you the unique URL you’ll need in order to access your seminar session.
