Event Information

The most recent UBC Faculty Pension Plan Forum was held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre– details of this event are below. Next year’s date will be posted in the spring of 2020.

The Pension Forum provides a great opportunity for current and retired members to hear the latest news regarding their pension plan and to meet the UBC FPP trustees, management and staff. There will be a presentation on the Plan’s 2018 investment performance and a review of the 2018/19 initiatives. Similar to past years, there will be information tables for members to learn more about the Plan as well as other retirement benefits and services. Light refreshments will be provided.

Event Program

10:00 a.m. – Doors open
10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – Presentation & Question Period
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Information Tables open
1:00 p.m. – Event ends


Advance registration is required to attend the Pension Forum in person. Please note that registration has now ended as of Friday May 3. Registration is not required to view the live webcast.

The Pension Forum Information tables will be available in the perimeter of the Jack Poole Hall, on the second floor of the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre. The Information tables will be available at 12:00 p.m., after the Presentation & Question Period.

Location & Parking

Location: Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre (Jack Poole Hall, Second Floor), 6163 University Boulevard, Vancouver Campus

Parking: The closest parkades are Health Sciences Parkade and North Parkade. Please visit the Alumni Centre website or the UBC Parking website to plan your visit accordingly.

**Current Road Closures: As of January 14, 2019, Wesbrook Mall will be fully closed between Student Union Boulevard and University Boulevard, due to construction of the new Bus Exchange and residences.
