UBC FPP Balanced Fund Update

The UBC Faculty Pension Plan (FPP) Balanced Fund is a composite of different asset classes managed by 12 different investment managers. One of the real estate managers, Bentall Kennedy, was purchased by Sun Life Financial effective September 1, 2015.  This acquisition does not impact the UBC FPP Balanced Fund in any way. Bentall Kennedy will retain all of its senior management, brand name, and the same investment team will continue to operate as a unit of Sun Life Investment Management.
