To be enrolled in the UBC Faculty Pension Plan you must be in an eligible position. If you move to an ineligible position, you will cease to be an active member and no further contributions will be made.
You can confirm your eligibility by referring to your offer letter. If you did not receive an offer letter, please contact your Faculty Administrator or Faculty Relations.
If you are considering a new position at UBC, you can review the Benefits webpage for eligibility requirements.
If you are re-hired to an eligible position, you may re-enrol in the Plan.
