The UBC FPP offers a Variable Payment Life Annuity (VPLA) retirement option that can be a valuable vehicle for providing you with a retirement income for your lifetime, and where applicable, the lifetime of your spouse. Changes are being made in early 2017 to the mortality assumption used to determine the monthly amount of income.
