LIF Minimum & Maximum 
Annual Withdrawal Limits

Each January 1st, an annual minimum and maximum withdrawal limit is calculated. You are required in the calendar year to withdraw an amount between the limits. The table below shows the minimum percentage that must be withdrawn. It is based on your age or your spouse’s age, whichever is used to determine your annual limits. Please note the maximum limit is based on your age.

Note: The maximum withdrawal amount may be higher than the maximum quoted in the above table. It can be equal to the investment return from your LIF-Type payment account for the previous calendar year.
